Report from the exhibition
"INVENTIONS - BELGRADE 2005"
The Belgrade Society of Inventors has successfully
organized the jubilee 25th “Inventions - Belgrade 2005” exhibition
of inventions, new technologies and industrial design (also the
6th with international participation), which took place from 23rd
to 27th of May 2005, in the Ethnographic Museum Gallery in Belgrade.
Apart from this jubilee, the 80 years of organized inventors’ activities
have been marked. At the same time, the preparations for the celebration
of 150-years since Nikola Tesla’s birth have reached their final
stage.
The opening ceremony was performed on Monday, 23rd of May 2005 in
the Ethnographic Museum. The exhibition was opened by the Chief
Manager of the City of Belgrade, Mr. Bojan Stanojevic.
An homage to our well-known inventor Dobrivoje Bozic and his famous
brake system for trains was paid by Mr. Milan Bozic, the president
of the Society of inventors of SCG, in which he evoked the memories
of the year 1925 and one of the founders of the Belgrade Active
of inventors and scientists.

The guest of the exhibition Dr. Andras
Verdes also had an appropriate speech in the opening ceremony, during
which he granted Mr. Djuro Borak, president of SPATUB, the silver
medal GENIUS on the behalf of the Hungarian Society of inventors.

The secretary of the Macedonian society
of inventors, Mr. Kolja Asenov, has also acknowledged SPATUB on
the behalf of SPATUM for many years of successful work.
The organizers of the international exhibitions
ARHIMEDES from Moscow and EUREKA from Bruxeles sent telegrams to
congratulate on the jubilee.

Over 125 authors from scientific institutes,
companies, faculties, schools as well as independent inventors took
part in the exhibition. The organizers chose 107 exhibits. Most of
the exhibits have been patented in the Council for intellectual property.
Many inventions are already being produced and some of them have by
now found their place in the market. |
