Many exhibitors from neighbouring countries
took part in this year’s exhibition.
The representatives of the Macedonian society
of inventors - Skopje, Society of inventors from the Republic of Srpska
- Banja Luka and the Hungarian society of inventors - MAFE, Budapest,
had distinguished and
well organized presentations of their exhibits. The Hungarian inventors
were given a special invitation for the exhibition. Dr Andas Vedres,
Secretary
general of the MAFE and representative of the European Association
of inventors, accepted the invitation and led the Hungarian delegation.
Dr Verdes and Mr. Djuro Borak, president of the Belgrade association
of inventors, signed the Agreement of the co-operation between MAFE
and SPATUB. The Agreement was signed on 25th of May in the Belgrade
Chambre of Commerce, with the presence of the Chamber’s head executives.

In the Hemofarm joint stock’s Business Centre
in Belgrade on 24th of May at 5PM Prof. dr. Slobodan Petrovic organized
the reception for Dr Andras Vedres, who spoke about the experience
gained through the activities of the European Association of inventors.
The audience was asking questions about the regulations of the EU
regarding the inventions and inventors’ activities. Among the guests
were Deputy Minister for science and ecology of the Republic of Serbia
Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Sedmak, representatives of Macedonian inventors,
inventors from the Republic of Srpska, members of the jury and others.
Most of the exhibits were from the following
specialties: mechanical engineering, electric-electronics engineering,
civil engineering, medical science and pharmacology, ecology, defence
industry, industrial design and other.
It is estimated that during the three days
some 4000 people have attended the exhibition through individual and
group visits. Some interesting conversations took place with the authors
about their exhibits, mainly concerning the possibility of their production
and placement on the market.
The media, mainly press and TV stations, gave the continuous and significant
publicity to the exhibition.

After careful examination of the exhibits
and conversations with the authors, the international jury gave rewards
in the fields of inventions, new technologies and industrial design.
The sponsors of the Exhibition are: the Belgrade
City Assembly, the Ministry of Science and Ecology of the Republic
of Serbia, the Belgrade Chambre of Commerce, the Dept. for Strategical
Planning MD SCG and the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade.
The closing ceremony was attended by Prof.
Dr Aleksandar Sedmak, Deputy Minister for science and ecology, who
has delivered the highest acknowledgements and awards.

The organizers wish to express their gratitude
to all the participants who have contributed to the successful realization
of this significant and vast Project of the “INVENTIONS - BELGRADE
2005" exhibition. The closing ceremony was performed on 27th
of May 2005 at 6PM, during which the rewards and acknowledgements
were delivered.
